Tom Williams

Retired Syndicate Trader
TradeGuider's Chairman
Inventor of VSA

As a very successful US Syndicate Trader, Tom William's professional experience gained a great impetus when reading what Richard D Wyckoff had to say in the early 20th Century on the subject of volume reading . Tom further developed Wyckoff's methodologies during the 60s and 70s to develop his own more potent methodology - Volume Spread Analysis - regularly referred to as "Wyckoff on Steroids!" Tom Williams has been energetically applying his unique methodologies for the last 30 years to the Stocks, FOREX and Futures markets.

He retired from professional trading to take up a number of commercial ventures. However, Tom's real ambition was to help traders operate in a more informed way, and this idea formed the basis of his software development company he set up 14 years ago. Tom has spent many years refining the signals in for the product that now forms the TradeGuider range of Software Systems.

Tom is the inventor of Volume Spread Analysis and the Chairman of TradeGuider Systems

David Blundell
Professional Trader & CEO
TradeGuider Systems Australia

David is a full time systems trader, based in Melbourne, Australia, primarily focusing on stock derivatives.

He is passionate believer in the concepts of mind, methods and money management as they apply to trading in a systematic yet calm approach to market engagement.

His own trading journey goes back 15 years or so with him writing systems for commercial organisations as a software developer, his shedding of fundamental analysis as a means to analyse markets, then a period of extensive writing and testing of every type of technical trading analysis system available. He was always concerned that technicals were not the complete answer and wondered what the picket fence called volume at the bottom of a chart was all about. He then discovered Volume Spread Analysis as the missing piece of the jigsaw and it all clicked into place.

Now he combines VSA with Elliott Wave with his own proprietary trading platform for his own trading and a few select clients for whom he manages money as a licensed derivatives advisor.
